At Harrell’s Automotive, we stand behind the tires we sell. Our optional Road Hazard Warranty provides added protection when an eligible tire is damaged by an unexpected road hazard. The warranty is available for 15% of the tire’s purchase price and applies only to tires purchased directly from Harrell’s Automotive.

What the Road Hazard Warranty Covers

Full Replacement During the First Year

If a covered tire is damaged by a road hazard within the first 12 months after purchase, Harrell’s Automotive will replace the tire at no cost, provided the tire remains eligible under the warranty terms.

Pro-Rated Coverage After the First Year
After the first 12 months, an eligible damaged tire may qualify for a credit toward the purchase of a replacement tire. The credit amount is calculated according to the percentage of usable tread remaining on the covered tire.

Any replacement credit must be redeemed at a Harrell’s Automotive-owned location. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or used at another automotive or tire shop.

Free Flat-Tire Repairs

If a covered tire develops a repairable puncture, Harrell’s Automotive will repair the tire at no cost while it remains within the warranty’s tread-depth requirements. The tire must be safely repairable according to accepted tire-repair standards.

Tread-Depth Requirements

Warranty coverage remains valid until the tire reaches 4/32 of an inch of remaining tread depth. Once the tire wears down to 4/32 of an inch or less, it is no longer eligible for road hazard replacement, pro-rated credit, or free flat repairs under this warranty.

Where the Warranty Can Be Used

The Road Hazard Warranty is valid only at locations owned and operated by Harrell’s Automotive. Repairs, replacements, or other services performed at independently owned repair facilities or tire shops will not be covered or reimbursed.

Who Is Eligible?

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the tire. The warranty is not transferable to another person or vehicle owner. Proof of purchase may be required when requesting warranty service.

To remain eligible, covered tires must receive proper maintenance throughout their service life. This includes maintaining the correct tire pressure, completing recommended tire rotations and wheel alignments, and addressing vehicle conditions that may cause uneven or premature tire wear.

What Is Not Covered
The Road Hazard Warranty does not cover tire damage or premature wear caused by:

  • Off-road use
  • Abuse, misuse, or abnormal driving conditions
  • Tires worn to 4/32 of an inch of tread depth or less
  • Services, repairs, or replacements completed outside a Harrell’s Automotive-owned location
