Tire pressure is important for safe driving. Today’s vehicles have an electronic system that monitors the air pressure in the tires and alerts the driver when it is dangerously low. There are two types of monitoring systems, direct and indirect. Directly, there are sensors on each tire. Indirectly, the antilock braking system monitors the pressure in the tires through the tire rotation.
